Dr. Wayne Ates, the “Minister of Mirth”, is an observer and interpreter of life.  As a humorist he helps us to overlook the unbecoming, understand the unconventional, tolerate the unpleasant, outlast the unbearable and most significant of all, laugh at ourselves!

A native Georgian and graduate of Brewton-Parker College, Louisiana College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Ates did his graduate work at Georgia Southern College and Louisiana State University.  He has taught at both high school and college level and promotes positive attitudes through creative teaching techniques. 

As a physician of the spirit, he believes in priorities that will help you make a life as well as a living.
